Terms of Use

These terms cover the use of socialfuturelabs.com, an editorial guide to eighteen hotels read along a single line between shared and private space. Using the site means accepting what is set out in the sections below.

02 / 10

Editorial, not an agency

The site is informational and editorial. It is not a travel agency, not a tour operator and not a booking service. No reservation can be made, held or requested through it, and no enquiry sent to us is forwarded to a hotel.

What the descriptions are

The accounts of shared and private space are our editorial description of how a building is laid out. They are not the rules of a hotel, not a statement of its services, and not a guarantee of what a guest will find. Where an entry names a curtain, a door or a path, that is a description of construction and nothing more.

04 / 10

Currency of the information

Buildings are altered, operators change and names change with them. The month printed at the end of an entry is when the published material behind it was last read, and nothing on the site is warranted as current beyond that. The site does not publish opening hours or schedules of any kind, so nothing here should be used for timing a visit.

External links and copyright

Links to other sites are given for reference and we are not responsible for their content. The text of this guide is our own work and is protected by copyright. Photographs are commissioned or licensed, and hotel names and marks belong to the businesses that hold them; they are used here to identify the subject of an entry.

06 / 10

Corrections

Factual errors are corrected once verified, at no charge and without any condition. A hotel may write about its own entry and will be read on the same footing as any other reader. No entry, no place in an entry and no change to an entry can be bought.

Liability and changes to these terms

The site is offered as it stands, and we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of it, to the extent the law allows. These terms may be revised, and the version published here is the one that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.

The Casino Hotels section

The four hotels in that section are described along the same line as every other entry: what is shared and what is kept to a room. The gaming floor is not described, not assessed and not linked to, and nothing on the site concerns play, odds, promotions or loyalty schemes. Casinos are for adults only. In Canada the minimum age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Québec; elsewhere it depends on where you are.

If gambling stops being a game: in Ontario, ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600; in Québec, 1-800-461-0140; in British Columbia, 1-888-795-6111. Outside Canada, look up the helpline for your own country.
